Anniversary day - 75 years of Sattel-Hochstuckli AG
On July 5, 2025, we will be celebrating our 75th anniversary with a varied day full of nostalgia, entertainment and exciting activities for the whole family.
75 years of Sattel-Hochstuckli - from vision to innovation
Our journey began in 1950 with the first detachable double chairlift in Switzerland - a bold step that laid the foundation for our family mountain. In 1993, the opening of the “Stuckli Run” toboggan run laid the foundation for summer tourism on the mountain. Another milestone followed in 2005 with the world's first revolving gondola lift, the “Stuckli Rondo”, followed by the spectacular “Skywalk” suspension bridge in 2010.
What once began as a simple mountain ride is now a place full of memories, movement and excitement - for 75 years and for a long time to come.

Parking spaces: Parking spaces are available at the valley station. Arrival is by revolving gondola lift.
Operating hours revolving gondola lift: 8.30 am - 5.30 pm (Rondos Playland (10.30 am to 5 pm)

Nostalgic themed trail with anniversary competition
Embark on a journey through 75 years of Sattel-Hochstuckli and discover the history of our family mountain on our nostalgic themed trail. At six stations you will learn exciting facts from the different eras - from the early beginnings in the 1950s and 60s to the present day. Each station has a question to be answered - with a bit of luck, you could win the big anniversary competition.
The competition form is available at the mountain station, the competition urn is located at the Bärenfang ski lift. The route leads over the suspension bridge and on to the Bärenfang, where an aperitif awaits you between 10.30 and 11.30 am.
You will also have the rare opportunity to visit the historic Bärenfang ski lift - including the old ticket office area, lounge and the original valley station from the early days of our family mountain.

Musikverein Sattel
At 11.30 am., the Musikverein Sattel will provide festive sounds for the aperitif at the Bärenfang. With their varied repertoire and a great deal of musical passion, they will provide a festive setting for our anniversary - an enjoyable moment for the ears and heart.

Örgelibandi from Sattel
The Örgelibandi from Sattel bring a real Ländler feeling to the mountain with a lot of passion, verve and traditional sounds. Their music creates a good atmosphere, invites you to sway along and is simply part of a real anniversary celebration.

Short description of the fairy tale Wunderfitz:
Wunderfitz is a curious young dwarf who is allowed to start his year of traveling. Although his father has warned him not to go to the humans, Wunderfitz sneaks into master carpenter Abbot's house, where he meets a tomcat who mistakes him for a mouse. Wunderfitz manages to save himself from him, but then master carpenter Abt catches him. Will it end well? Come along and listen to the story.
