Sattel-Hochstuckli Trail & Feasting

							A somewhat different tour awaits you. A real gourmet trail on the Schwyzer Höhenweg.
We start at Schwyz railroad station and trail up to Holzegg, behind the Mythen on the most beautiful trails to Mostelberg. In stages of 7 km there is always something culinary. We stop at Holzegg for an appetizer, then after another 7 km we stop at the dignified Herrenboden restaurant, where a delicious cheese fondue awaits us. After carbo- and protein-loading, it's smooth sailing on the beautiful downhill towards Jansern. At the end of the tour, we stop off at the Schornen restaurant to indulge in the legendary crèpes.

Start: Schwyz train station

Destination: Schornen
(return to Sattel approx. 2 km or pick-up opportunity back to the valley station)

sure-footed, good physical condition to walk for several hours
