What is the address?

Does it have enough parking spaces?

It has a large parking lot right by the valley station.

Are there toilets available?

There are toilets at the valley and mountain station.

Where is the nearest ATM?

In the village of Sattel (about 300 meters away)

Does it have safe-deposit boxes?

At the mountain station for a rental fee of CHF 5.00.

Where can I get back lost items?

At the valley station of the revolving gondola / 041 836 80 80

Do you have overnight accommodations?

At the mountain inn Mostelberg, Skihaus Hochstuckli and Restaurant Herrenboden

How much is parking?

1 hour is free, up to 2 hours CHF 3.00, up to 5 hours CHF 6.00 and up to 24 hours CHF 9.00

Where can I rent skis?

At the valley station at the rental and test center Tony Sport

Where can I rent sledges?

At the mountain station for a fee of CHF 10.00.

Which ski slopes are suitable for beginners?

The blue slopes are suitable for beginners.

Are ski tickets included in the booked ski school tickets?

No, in the ski lessons (group or private lessons) is the ski pass not included.

Is it possible to walk down to the valley station in winter?

In winter you can use the asphalt road from Mostelberg to Sattel. There is no other winter hiking trail from Mostelberg to Sattel.

Are there any scorecards?

No, we offer a 3-hour ticket or a day ticket.

Is the revolving gondola included in the ski ticket?

Yes, in the ski ticket the revolving gondola is included.

Does it have chairlifts or T-bar lifts?

We have one T-bar lift, the ski lift Engelstock.

Is helmet mandatory?

There is no official ski helmet obligation in Switzerland. However, for your own safety, wearing a ski helmet is essential.

How many slopes and kilometers of slopes has the area?

You will find 7 km of pistes here. 4 km of these are freeride runs.

Is the Half-Fare Card/GA valid? Also on ski tickets?

You get a 20% discount on the revolving gondola tickets. There is no reduction on ski tickets.

Is the Junior Card valid?

No

Are there family tickets?

There are attractive combination tickets for the summer day tickets and the night sledging.

Is it possible to buy tickets on the mountain?

Yes

Is it necessary to buy tickets online or can they be bought on the spot?

Tickets can also be purchased on site.

Can I pay by card on the mountain?

Yes, we accept all major credit and debit cards (except American Express) and Twint.

How long is the ride on the revolving gondola?

About 12 minutes

Does a wheelchair/stroller fit in the gondola?

Yes

Is the revolving gondola open all year round?

After the summer and winter season there is a maintenance period of about 3 weeks. During this time the gondola is closed

Are dogs allowed in the revolving gondola?

Yes, dogs are allowed in the gondola. Day ticket for dogs from a height of 30 cm is CHF 5.

At which age are children allowed to use the toboggan/tubing run?

From 6 years alone, under 6 years accompanied by an adult.

Is the toboggan/tubing run open in bad weather?

For safety reasons, the toboggan and tubing run is closed in case of rainfall.

What is included in the day ticket?

The revolving gondola lift, the bouncy castle facility and the toboggan and tubing run for unlimited rides.

Does it have fireplaces ?

There are various fireplaces in the area.

Does it have wood on site?

The fireplaces are regularly refilled with wood.

Is the suspension bridge accessible by wheelchair/stroller?

The suspension bridge can be used from the mountain station with strollers and wheelchairs on one side. For the way back please use the Bridge LOOP trail.

Can I reserve a scooter?

Yes, we are happy to make a reservation for groups of 10 or more by calling 041 836 80 80 or info@sattel-hochstuckli.ch.
